I just went out and shot a few establishing photos for a layout....one of those ones where you "park" your diecast in a real life setting....it`s 10:15 here in SC and I almost shot these indoors.....figured the good outside light had been gone for hours....as I set up some poster boards on my desktop....then I figured"what the hell",try the pics outdoors.....so I did....saved a ton of time by not having to get the indoor lighting adjusted.... these exceeded my expectations!....the last pic is where the car will eventually land if this works for me ...... sometimes it does, often it doesn`t
This takes a lot of work. It also takes a good bit of time learning how to do it. You do it well, John. Thanks for sharing with us.

Very crisp work John. By the way what is the car, it's difficult to tell without seeing the grille?

hey Charles....just got back from a round of beverages with the Slo-Clappers-League-of-Sons-of-the-Sweater
the car is the Danbury Mint 1:24 1932 Cadillac V-16 Sport Phaeton......looks like a need to find a duck for a hood ornament
@john-barry The Cadillac is fantastic. It seems you get some very nice models in 1:24 the likes I've never seen in U.K.. Are we going to see it in the late-nite diner shot?
