A question to owners of the DM 1969 Chevelle L.E. in yellow

Does yours have a noticeable higher front suspension? I just got one and its too high at the front compared to the rear.

Hi Eloy,

I just bought mine about four months ago but it looks pretty accurate compared to my wifes 69 Malibu. Check it out.

Hope that helps.

PICS - Eloy here is mine I haven't finished this file yet...

I think it does sit a little high, fortunately my seems to be level.

Jim and John, Thanks a lot for your great pics.

Yes, mine seats exactly as Jim's model, but I am keeping it. Not that bad as to return it. 🙂
Thanks friends!

Mine sits about the same and that 'is' slightly high compared to 1:1 version.

My brother had a 1:1 '69 Chevelle SS396 and the nose should be down a little more on the 1:24.
I guess DM forgot that's an 'iron' big-block up-front.
We'll forgive DM for this slight error. Otherwise, my 1:24 '69 is great.

Mine sits lower in the front than the one in Jims pics. Looks good to me.

I've looked closely at this model and I think the stance is right...

After looking even closer at the pics, I have to wonder if the tires might be just a hair too small, making the front end look too high. The 1:1 396 sat just a smidge high in front, the result (I believe) of stiffer springs and shocks. Is it just me and my steadily weakening eyesight?

It seems there are differences even among 1:1 cars.

I remember a friend's '69 chevelle 396 having its nose down a bit. It looked mean and I liked it a lot. Thats why I asked. Thanks for your input. Dont get me wrong, I like my 1/24 chevelle. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get a broken suspension, lol.
