The 1930 front wheel drive Cord L-29 Brooks Stevens Speedster is a one-of-a-kind Cord that was designed by Brooks Stevens in the mid-thirties and the resulting body design was built by the Cord Corporation's Limousine Body Shop. Brooks Stevens was a prolific engineer/architect and designer of all things transportation (including the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile). He kept that car in his personal museum until his death. It exists today in a private collection.
exquisite photos
Have it, love it (as per my friend Bob Jackman) EXCELLENT photos pal!
Beautiful photos of an amazing model.
I’d seen this car in person just before the model was announced. I had to have it.
The 1:1 was so incredible. I stood next to it while it was running for almost 10 minutes. That engine purr is a sound I will never forget.

@perrone1 Okay Tony...have it, love it. Incidentally Brooks Stevens was also the founder CEO of the company that produced the Excaliber automobile.
