The Cadillacs that wrapped around the war years spoke of understated luxury. Unlike the later models of the 1950s with tons of garish trim and spikey tail fins. The trim on this 1941 Cadillac series 60 Fleetwood sedan are small but delightfully detailed as is the grill which is emblazoned with the Cadillac crest and topped off with the "Flying Goddess" hood ornament. I wonder how many of these Cadillacs were requisitioned for the general staff and painted Olive Drab with a big white star.
