I did....seems like the price points for DM Mopars is quite high.

Guy came down to $225. Really more then I want to spend, and the D4C history on the auction has pretty low prices.

Alan, I bought one of these on Ebay awhile back and when I received it, I could then see the paint finish was very poor. I returned it. I have seen a coupe of others on Ebay and significant paint rash could be seen in the photos. I believe this model had paint issues in some of the lots. However, some have perfect paint. Just letting you know what I discovered.

not all online site have the same sales numbers - some site sold sales number are higher

Alan; Tony's review was RIGHT ON for this GTX. You've seen the D4C archive is...

Look up my 'user rating'-details. You'll see I was lucky enough to buy the D4C 'Photo Car'...directly from Tony. If you cross-check the date I bought it with the price archive you'll see I paid $210 ...on 2-09-13. Hard to believe it's been 4 years already.
In my case, I don't regret ONE PENNY spent on this beauty.
To date, I don't own any 'Rick Hanmore' cars. but, I got the next best thing in a D4C 'Photo Car'.

Paint rash is always going to be a concern. If you trust the seller...and his/her word...and you'd like to have one of these GTXs...go for it.
Like Tony said...the details are over the top.

Starting bid is $67.99 but seller states there is some paint rash. I have this model, purchased directly from DM and it too has just a hint of rash on the hood and trunk, but I can live with it as it is a beaut! Where did you see the one for sale for $250?

Alan, the price makes sense if it makes sense to you. I've found that some cars will garner higher prices, but they are only worth it if after you buy it you can sleep at night with no remorse. If the price bothers you going in, then perhaps you've already answered your own question. Good luck whatever you decide.

Good points George! Also add to this that IF the paint really is rash free $225-$250 for a discontinued model isn't out of line IMO

Go to Ebay - Search DM 1967 Plymouth GTX - completed listings. This will show what they are selling for. If you are patient, you should be able to get one under $200.

Yes, if you truly like the 1:1's and you can find a good one of these

Rick Hanmore did a phenomenal job replicating a '67 GTX. inside and out I could find no flaws in it's copying of a real GTX. I think if you avoid the paint rash, it's worth a premium.
you have to decide what that is. Mine are not for sale either.

The seller reduced the price to $225. He also sent me an email, that if I didn't like it, I could return it at his cost!
