@georgeschire thanks George, maybe worth a go? I had no idea how mine would turn out after a near 60 year hiatus. And I'm regularly saying I cant believe how my dexterity has improved in my early, mid 70s
Oh trust me, I've tried many times over the last couple of decades to build a model from a kit. Every time, I lose interest quickly and more often than not, with frustration to boot. When I was a kid, one of friends had the knack to put models together and they always turned out so nice. I'd try one here and there and it looked like "dogs breakfast" when I was through with it. It's a patience thing with me, I just don't have it. This was why the old plastic "promotional" models were my go to, and then later diecast. I get to enjoy them immediately and that works better for me.

John this one is called Bare metal foil. Easily obtainable, hobby shops or online. Couple of helpful tips from the guys here, it does not age well, tends to fragment when removing excess and we must use a very very sharp exato knife.Ok guys...what's BFM?
I had to correct my post. My dexterity ISN'T as good as when I was younger. My finger typing either.😂🤣
