real low level kit. Small parts count, but everything fitted together well, no real hassles. However I'd call it really only half a kit. No engine. Engine bay, but, no engine. But, what we get instead is a 1/25 scale squirrel! And also an old 1/25 rotary dial telephone. Interesting sort of substitute for an engine. Anyway I colored the squirrel grey, I think thats OK? My car color came up a bit too dark, hope the squirrel is the right shade! Its one of those kits where an experienced modeler could really update, Geno, John N, (others?) if its a vehicle that interests you I reckon you could have a bit of fun with it.
That Nova came out very nice. I like the blue you chose. I have that kit but haven't opened it so didn't know about empty engine compartment. My younger brother, who was a better builder than I, but not as good as those here built this gasser wagon. He was into drag racing, so all his builds were drag cars. He put an engine in. I can't find the hood.

Thanks Grock. Do you know what your brother did with the squirrel? 🙂

That's terrific Geoff - did not know they ever made a kit of the Chevy II in station wagon form. Will you drop a motor into it?
Geoff, not sure. I have about 7 boxes of spare parts of misc model stuff. I do have a larger squirrel that came with a deer model Dad built. It appears once in a while in my diecast photos.

thanks Tony, I had a bit of a play with a couple from my spare parts bin but nothing would fit. And as well I kinda like keeping them on display like these 2.
Station wagon kits are real rare Tony. Be nice to find a few more.

great shots Grock. Looks like your squirrel is on the same exercise routine as John M's bunnies!
That is a neat looking kit. I might look into one. I do have a DZ 302 engine out of an M2 Camaro. I'd probably convert it to a 2 door wagon as well. That's just me and my tinkering side, lol.😁
@geoff-jowett You're welcome Geoff. Thanks for sharing with us. I love seeing others builds as well. We get to see one of a kind models in everyone's collection. 💯😊
On the subject of station wagon models, here is a 1960 Ford wagon my grandparents had and the model of it my Dad built. Don't know who made the model, could have been JoHan. There is also a model of our 1961 Falcon station wagon Dad made from the Rancharo model. Couple of years ago my brother made some repairs and repainted it. Just noticed the Falcon is a two door wagon model.
