Great pictorial, Tony. They're both gems, but the color combo on the Vette is killer.

Currently, the 1957 Corvette generally sells for a much higher price than the same year Thunderbird. I suspect that the models have similar popularity.

I have to go with the Thunderbird, because my dad had one, and now my brother has it when he passed away.

I'd build another garage to buy both! However guess I'll just have to settle for having both models. Great pics Tony, thanks.

If you ever have the chance to drive both cars you would find that only the Corvette was a sports car while the Thunderbird was marketed as a personal luxury car. Love both, have both.

Corvette by the slightest of margins; I love the single headlight version of this body style.

One of my younger brothers had a ‘57 Corvette and sold it after he got married and started having little Vandermeers.

A Corvette is not the ideal family car.

You're absolutely right my good friend. But, oh, what could have been, if this bad boy ever made it into production:

001
002
003
004
005
006
007
008
009
010
