and now for something completely different (PIC)
Some years ago I bought this 1:43-scale Chrysler Race-boat-model.
It is a model of a Chrysler-boat that supposed to have raced in the 1950's, but I can't find more information about this.
Can anybody help ?

A very quick Google search turned up the Chrysler Queen H-1 (as per the model markings)
It was piloted by George Byers, Jr. who today is the chairman of the family-owned Byers Auto Group, founded in 1897 in Columbus, Ohio and currently has ~16 new car brand franchises.
See about halfway down in the below:

Nixe model! But I have no idea who made it.
Provence Moulage. ( Using Google, of course... )
Nice! Not too many 1/43 boats around!

I thought it was still in production, Keko, but I just saw on Brooklin's website that it was deleted just this year. Shouldn't be too difficult to find one, though. It's a nice model, and mine is displayed on its trailer behind the '55 Plymouth Belvedere Suburban station wagon.
So how does that affect the model Dick?

The Speedboat in Blue is always available on Buz site, Keko. This one done for the 10th anniversary of the BBC in 1998 is more difficult to find. I wonder what is the color exactly? The BRK 39x 1953 Oldsmobile Fiesta convertible has the same Orange color to match with the Speedboat. I am not able to find this color for the 1953 Oldsmobile.
Rick, do you have this Speedboat behind your BRK 1955 Plymouth Belvedere Suburban station wagon Brown and Tan? Looks to be a good matching.

It doesn't say Chris Craft on the fin.
Good model and good thinking of BRK's part.
Frank, I do not think it affects the model at all.
The orange and white scheme was chosen by the Brooklin Club.
I guess the closest to orange for the Fiesta was Raven Red?
