I did this to create my tri-five trifecta. I had gotten this FM convertible dirt cheap off of Ebay. I put a top on it, removed the continental kit, pieced the endcaps of the rear bumper with the center section of a model kit bumper, added the bumper guards, sent it out for chroming, put it all back together, added photo-etch from Model Car Garage, V8 emblems below the tail lights came from my parts stash, added the license plate bracket and license plate to the trunk, and also added the radio antenna on the front passenger fender, polished it up, and done.....whew!!! Oh, and also removed the rear windows. 😁
WOW.....it looks fantastic....excellent job done Geno!
I recall seeing this before Geno and am so glad you are showing it again! These three are terrific in their own right but superb together!
Thanks guys, my goal was to take this old tech model and try to rival the new tech DM '55 hardtop. Not perfect, but close enough for me, lol. A CP, DM, & FM together, and none look out of place with each other. Just the way I like it.😊
Another altered diecast; nicely done, Geno!
