This is rarely seen model although it is not really something difficult to find.
XJ 220 by Matchbox Masterclass Collection. Matchbox did 3 models in 1/24 as far as I know: Jaguar XJ 220, Lamborghini Diablo and Porsche 911 Carrera Carrera Cabriolet. Here is the Jaguar. The chassis states 1993, the paint is mediocre, paint rash cancer is common problem, I had to make 1 model of 2 purchased, and this one needs repaint too.

Maisto did two XJ220s. One in 1/24 and the other that I have is a rather well done 1/12 model. I never saw the 1/24 in hand so I can't vouch for its quality.

@rich-sufficool, detail-wise the Matchbox is much better than the Maisto 1/24, the paint job ruins the experience though. The doors and the engine bay cover open, the hood does not. I looked pictures online, the 1/12 Maisto is nicer, of course the bigger scale allows much more room for details.

@chav I was quite impressed with the 1/12 model. It was done when Maisto was certainly not known for quality replicas... 20 years ago, perhaps? We need our database back. My memory ain't what it used to be. I pulled the model out and there's no copyright date.
