This is my favorite of the 3 '57 Nomads I have. From the info I could find, a solid Adobe Beige was the rarest color on the '57 Nomad, with supposedly only a handful ever painted so.😊

Yes, that would be my fave as well. It is the Adobe Beige that sets it off so well. And your great photos showcase it perfectly!

I don't have this but it looks nice in that color. Never knew this color existed as a single tone option.

@bob-jackman +1  I have never seen or heard of this color on a '57 Nomad.  I like it!

We may be used to seeing the Adobe Beige as a secondary color to Sierra Gold on certain of 1957 Chevy models.

But the 57 chart does show it as a singular entity choice; take a look:

That is a nice color on this Nomad.  I really liked the Tri-Five Nomads and wish Chevy would have continued with them.

I know in '58 they still called one of their wagons Nomad, but it was ruined by being a 4-door that it made it no different than every other wagon out there.

With the right marketing, the two-door version could have been successful for much longer than just 3 years.

@georgeschire +1  I agree George and wish they had carried on with the 2-door Nomad for many more years.

I agree, they should have continued. Chevy did carry on with other 2 door wagons, but it just wasn't the same.😟

It's amazing how great these CP models are. Every bit as nice as the Mints, but at a substantially better price.💯

They always look great in the photos shared.  Amazing that I never saw them advertised back in the day anywhere.  I'd have added many if I'd known about them.

Thanks George, I've picked most of mine up at toy shows, but a few off of Ebay. They're generally pretty reasonable. 😊
