This one is a beauty.  Several months ago I looked at mine in the display case and all the tires were "flat" and hardened.  This has never happened before.

Someone sent me 4 tires and I was able to replace them even though I'm a total klutz.  Fortunately this problem is not present on any other of my models.  I have no clue what could have caused the tires to do that.

First of this I have heard on this model. But the FM '54 Mercedes Benz 300SL's all had this ailment.

Excellent pics of this highly detailed model, and one that I display with its seven 1969 Charger bros.

Concerning flat tires, I've only had one do that, the right rear on the red Edsel Bermuda wagon.  I just swapped it out with the spare tire.
