Another question for the forum....

... perhaps a page for those of us who build kits? Seems to be some interest here.

I would be keen for this to happen. Kinda keeps it in the family, eh?

John .... This is a great idea ... D4C has been available for decades and has MANY MANY useful tabs for all to use.

It never hurts to EXPAND

Last week or so ... I posted a few pict's and wrote a few words on how I removed a few parts off a Corvette

I think ... and I know You'll agree with me ... there was significant interest in what I was doing

When MJ was working on his projects ... many people were clinging to his each and every word

I agree

I think there is a very sincere interest in the part of our die cast car hobby that would support diecast car repairs / rebuilds ... etc

John ... I support your idea

Just remember ... my support will not pay your car note ...

But I do support you and I believe in you and your idea

"Picture This" was the perfect place to showcase...

photos and albums. But I do not think we have a volunteer editor for the feature any longer.

Picture This.

It has been a long time since it was changed.

That would be great, especially since 1/24 diecast has about dried up. I still don't get it. It seems the cheaper 1/24 diecast are coming out left and right. I've been taking these and detailing them to fill some of the void.

Good idea!

I know that the 1:1 Buick Club has a category for "modified or custom Buicks" (I like customs/hot rods, dragsters) How about it? Modified/customized 1:24 diecasts!

What about plastic model kits?

That's what I've gotten back into, and wondered if there would be any interest here. I know there are other model car sites for those of us who build. Perhaps this isn't the appropriate place. Thanks for the replies.

I think plastic kits would be an excellent addition to a new section that includes diecast conversions and custom work all things to do with 1/24 & 1/25 models and kits.
Of course it all depends on how accepting of this idea are our hosts.

Back in the day when it came to exploring this site, I noticed an air of neglect, like a shopping mall with empty stores here and there, where it seemed that time had stood still.
But its easy to see that this was a resource loaded site and there is still plenty of valuable info especially to do with model building how-too's and general help. Its just that it hasn't been up dated or added to in a while, but the good stuff is there you just need to know how to make it to where it is.

Its not really my place to say much more than this. After all I've been here only a short while and my experience in playing about on websites is zip. Although I'm pretty sure that there will be costs involved even in setting up a page of a kind we have been discussing here.

Over to you, Batman.

Thanks, Alfred. I'd be willing to help...

I had an advertising/marketing agency and decades of graphic design/art direction experience. Mostly print, but some web and still keep my chops up playing with my hobby websites:
