Another winner from the Rockford Car show........
Please, Brian D., the Healey NEEDS to be done..... My brother was restoring a 1959 100/6 when he passed away. It would make my heart feel really good if I had this one done in 1:24 diecast with this color.......

I don't know if these wheels were stock in 1966, but they DO LOOK good, and they are made in the UK. They're British, I guess they work, but I think I'd rather have the chrome wire wheels instead. If someone offered me these wheels for a $1000 (with car attached of course) I'd be happy........LOL
Jerry..thought you were " hard core " American Iron..gettin' soft with age???
Does that mean I have to throw out all my R/Rs, M/Bs & Bugattis........NOT........
The Rockford show was great!!!
That was the "Classics and Chrome show". I just happen to find it surfing on the web, My son and I drove there from our home in Huntley IL. I highy recommend this annual event. Great PICS Jerry!!!
Alright.....Maybe next year we can get more of us little car 'nuts' together.
I'll have to make a point in posting info earlier next year. There are 40-45 of us collectors in the Chicago-land / Northern Illinois area that could make up a pretty good group....It could be a nice gathering.....
It maybe a nice 66 or 67 but..................
not STOCK ORIGINAL and not the BJ8 I would like to see coming from DM (we have to forgot about the others as FM, GMP and WCPD because they will NEVER be in this game).
I fully restored one in 1986 to original specs and kept it until 1996 when I made the decision to sell and buy a 49 Riviera,
I still have all the original owner's manual, rare original factory parts book and shop manuals from 1964 through 1967 including sale brochures and promotional material.
From my 49 Riviera, I have the same rare litterature from the factory bulletins how to fix leaks on the first Riviera steel tops through instructions to Buicks dealers to build a special lift to remove the complete hood without damaging the paint work.
Quite interesting photos and drawings from a time where computers were far away.
I wouldn't care if it was a 100 point original or NOT....
I would take in a heartbeat and enjoy it every time I drove it to the club. Besides 95% of the people that would see it probably wouldn't even know what the he&& it was.......
