That did NOT come from Chrysler. It's someones idea of a custom.

That's what I thought. It just doesn't look like 50's ideas.
Or rather a cartoonish version of what 50's cars looked like.
I went to a lot of car shows in the late 50's & Never Saw this car.
Do any of you have any Chrysler history books showing the car as it was Grey(?) I have looked in my show car books & don't see it so maybe some one else has some identifying history. The back has 66 Batmobile pods and the rear bumpers could be modified Cadillac units which if it's Chrysler made they would not have done that. Most of Chryslers Dream Cars came thru Dual Ghia at that time too!
Wow!!! That's super ugly.
This "Plymouth" has been a recent subject on Hemmings Auto Blogs. According to some experts there, this was never a Chrysler Corporation experimental/dream/design car. It seems to have been built in Utah in the 60's by an individual. Brace yourself: It's for sale on eBay right now.
I'll run right over there sometime next year would not want to be to anxious to purchase? Ugly is more than skin deep on this car!
Hey John, Nice job of finding and quickly posting a follow up article! That is one FUGLY car! . . .
I think if someone GAVE it to me I would be to embarrassed to ever get behind the wheel and drive it anywhere.
1:1 PIC - Here's a real, and the last, Plymouth concept...

'98 Plymouth Pronto Spyder.
They should have built this, it could have competed with the Mazda Miata.
I totally agree.
Bob, I would also be embarrassed to drive it. LOL.
