I saw that Geoff, I just assumed it was the Chrysler woody. I've seen the Bonneville in person, it is amazing. I'd love to see good pics of the Caddy.😊
thanks Geno, Lu has said he will post photos on his return from a work trip. I'm intrigued!I saw that Geoff, I just assumed it was the Chrysler woody. I've seen the Bonneville in person, it is amazing. I'd love to see good pics of the Caddy.😊
It is a 1941 phantom Cadillac convertible woody, never existed. Danbury was planning to release it with a fictional back story similar to the Duesenberg Simone by Franklin Mint, but it never happen. I have one too, pictures of the model have been posted here before, very cool piece. At least 8-9 years ago, I believe Lu posted a picture of a prototype with green body and white rear left fender, which picture he got from oversees online forums. Unfortunately I did not save that picture, maybe Lu still has it.
@chav thanks Chav, yeh, I now have a vague recollection of seeing it, as you say some years back. What a remarkable unique piece it is.
Yes, thanks Chav, can we see those pics of yours? I must have missed them.😟
@geno Geno, it must have been the old forum, not sure if Rick ever registered on the new one, he posted the pictures. I didn’t not save them and don’t have ready photos. Will let Lu post his pictures since he is bringing it up.
@geno Geno, just came back from the Detroit Auto Modelers Show, did not see you there, hopefully I did not miss you.
Chav, I'm happy to hear you made it there and back ok. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it this year.😟
