My 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado arrived safely in Australia from Automodello this week. Beautiful model, great paint, and intricate detail. A very striking car design, love the crisp clear lines and sharp angles. Couple of non collectors who have seen it this week have commented "beautiful car". Highly recommended if you are considering.
This also came this week from a U.S ebay seller. For $10! First Gear, says 1/25 but can't see difference with 1/24 in size anywhere on the model. Great engine detail. First Gear make a series of rods and I'll add the rest over time, also highly recommended!
very very nice Geoff !!!.....you`ve done quite well this Christmas
Wow, great looking replicas !
thanks John, Mike. Its worthwhile having a look at First Gears 1/25 offerings. I hadn't checked them out in ages. John I know you have a few of their models. Along with the Hot Rods there's a lot of new trucks, vans and pickups, as well as the ubiquitous Mustang and Camaro offerings.
Great finds!
Beautiful Eldorado!
Geoff, Nice additions. I have the Cadillac in turquoise. I agree with your thoughts about First Gear models being worth a look. I have the Hot rod and the detail is superb.
Beautiful El Dorado. Just not a fan of static models especially at the cost they want. First Gear make great vehicles. You will like what you collect from them.
That’s a nice Eldorado there! I bought the Pinetint green one (seafoam green) and love it!! I wish DM had made a highly detailed version with opening headlight covers, detailed engine etc. but I’m THRILLED that Automodello make these forgotten Luxo coupes. I have most all the Mark llls they made too. The Brooks Cord is one of my most favorite models I own. The Kaiser Darrins are wonderful too. I preordered the Graham Sharknose in creme which I’m excited about. Enjoy your new additions!
