Hey Tony,
I've decided to sell off my collection. Again. I've sold quite a few already on eBay, but would like to put some on this site too. They're mostly DM, FM, WCPD, and Exoto, with a few ACMEs thrown in. Any news on getting the auction page up?

John, why do you want to sell your collection. You have some neat stuff that is no longer available, unless you're trying to cash out early before the old generation of collectors dies off and then they are worth nothing.

Thanks for the comments, yall. It won't be the first collection I've sold, and maybe not the last. I enjoy buying AND selling models, so I'm having fun on eBay. I doubt I'll be able to sell them all, and I'm still gonna do my junk yard dioramas. I'm fixin' to turn 70 and thinking ahead to when I'll have to downsize again. I've got my transaction reports from eBay to see what I paid for each one, and keeping a spread sheet for tax purposes as I sell them. So far, I haven't seen a profit on the ones I've sold, but I've had fun with them and a little extra cash coming in never hurts.

That thought crossed my mind. I've been surprised at how quickly some of mine have sold, but I have no way of knowing the age of the buyer.

Funny you mention the Corvette. I've bought and sold several of them too, and there's always some regret. I had inquired about trading my Z06 on a 2022 Cadillac CT5-V. There's a big demand and short supply, so dealers have them marked up way over MSRP and I don't play their games. Oh well, as long as I can still get in and out of my 'Vette, I'll have fun with it a while longer.
