AUCTION SHOCK - Yellow CMC/Vanbo Mercedes 500K Special Roadster
I was shocked at the instant win price of $1,200 on this item in the auction. I know they are hard to find, but this seems way too high to me. I checked the archives but the values there aren't very recent and seem very low. Does anybody know what it's currently worth, or can provide a "best guess?" Many thanks from a new D4C member.

Sellers can ask anything they wish. Let's see who is buying, lol.

You're right of course, and I notice nobody bid on it...
...But if it's worth anywhere near $1200 I'd sell mine in a heartbeat and buy half a dozen rare Franklins and Danburys for my collection.

Seems a tad ambitious.
