Today I received the 69 Chevrolet Station Wagon from Automodello. Words cannot describe the presence this model makes and the extreme detail. I chose the yellow as I believe it shows off the details best. I'm hoping someone here has also received this model and has the ability to post pictures.
Congrats Bob. I saw these in person at the Detroit show. They are stunning. 💯

here you go Bob. Mine arrived in Australia very quickly, Automodellos Fedex service is excellent, and of course for us overseas buyers...free!
I dont have anywhere near the photographic skills of some of our other contributors. But as you and Geno state the model is stunning. Sitting where it is on the desk, it really catches ones eye from other points in the room. A brilliant model all round. I've followed a John K tip and now use the light on the phone to get a better look at the interior.

My Butternut Yellow Kingswood Estate arrived today, and the color is a knockout! The Cortez Silver model arrived last week. Here's a few pictures I took of each color.

I love the '69 Big Chevrolets, my parents ordered a Caprice Coupe in October '68 and took delivery just before Christmas. For this 14-year-old, it was the best present ever! I later acquired the car but sold in in the late 90's when I bought a '65 Continental.
Extra cost options that were replicated that I noticed when looking over the wagon:
1. Concealed Headlamps (only available on Caprice or Kingswood Estate)
2. Light monitoring system (on top of front fenders)
3. 15" Wheels/Tires/Wheel covers/WSW (14" wheels were standard) In spite of what's advertised, this model does not have the Rally Wheel option
4. Left hand remote outside mirror. Adjuster on the driver's door panel
5. Roof top luggage carrier
6. Rear window air deflector
7. Front bumper guards
8. Power Windows
9. AM Radio/8-track tape player (under dash) Speakers on kick panels and rear cargo panels
10. 3-speed Turbohydramatic transmission
11. Dual Exhausts (ordered separately or may be included with optional engine)
Did I miss any?
I can't determine what engine it has, but it's at least the base 327 V8. It could be one of two 350s or one of two 396s. I doubt it has the 427 because special front fender badging is absent.
Non-AC car. No disc brake option as evidenced by brake pedal trim. No third-row seat. Standard electric clock.
Seat belts and shoulder harnesses are missing.
Excellent models, highly detailed! The luggage carrier is a work of art. Bob Jackman's assessment is spot on! I only wish I could open the doors and hood and operate that two-way tailgate!
Thank you Geoff and Pete.
@pete-rovero Pete your last sentence is why I will not purchase one of these at the price they are asking.
Thanks everybody for the awesome pics. Although I really like this, I'm still going to wait and save for the '61 Caddy. The 61/62 Caddys are my favorite 60's Caddys, I love those skegs.😁💯 Oh, also the '58 Buick Caballero wagon.
And John, I'm right there with you. Back in the day when DM, FM, etc. were churning out 1:24's, we had movable parts and options galore. I'll admit that I was one of the few here on the Forums that shouted loudly, it didn't matter if the doors opened and the gas cap could be removed, or the wheels turned. BUT, and it's a huge BUT, if a model is going to cost double or more what those DM's, FM's, etc. cost, and NOT have a single operating part on it, I'm NOT paying for the model. A static model that cost $300, $400 and more has got to give us what those mint models did, or they don't get my money. I can't justify it!!!

A beautiful model! I hope to see it done in 1/43 scale one fine day.
