Automodello Lincoln Mk V
Looks like they are getting close to release? as some of the color variations look to be in full form on the Automodello One24 site.
Did anyone else notice the window down side, that the rear window should not be down. If I remember correctly, that window was fixed and did not lower.
Any other comments on what you see so far. Looks to be a nice model other than the color palate looks very uniform from body color to carriage roof top color to interior.
Should be a great image...
You are correct on the rear quarter windows. They did not open.

James I did notice the quarter window thing, but keep in mind that this is ....
A pre-production example that you're looking at. I guess Jim wants us to get a sneak peak at how it's coming along. Just an FYI the last year of opening quarter windows on a Mark IV was 1975. I never understood this as a 1976 was the same car and body style (Money savings??). And NO Lincoln Mark there after had opening quarter windows from 1976-1998. 1998 Marked the last year of the well.... Mark LOLOLOL The Continental Mark II from 1956 through the 1975 Mark IV had opening quarter windows. Just a trivia tid bit LOL
and if you remember, the window went back.... not down!
Correct.

Jeeze! I owned a '79 MkV for 15 years....
and I don't remember what the back windows did or didn't do. You guys are GOOD.
Probably because you didn't sit back there, Rich - LOL.
What if the 'opera glass window' was in the roof pillar?
Richard they do nothing on a Mark V but keep out the elements and noise lololol
I figured you'd be our resident Continental savant, Phil.
