AUTOMODELLO is producing THREE '54 Buick Skylark Convertibles! The three colors are ARCTIC WHITE, MATADOR RED, and LEDO GREEN. I'm like a little kid at Christmas time waiting for these classics! I've got my pre-orders in. Â

I vividly remember seeing one for the first time and thinking, "What the hell is this?" I truly believed someone had customized a Buick.... after I did a bit of research, I discovered I was correct. Someone HAD customized a Buick... General Motors! 😎Â
Congrats to all you 1/24 collectors! I'd love to have one in 1/18

@chris. it was great news for me. I've ben so hungry for a new 1:24 model for a long time, Right now with these three on order, it's like the good old days when I'd have three or more on order from Danbury and Franklin. For the time being anyway, the drought is over.

thanks for the tip George. It looks brilliant. I've just ordered the Lido Green version.
And for any other non U.S readers Automodellos free international shipping on this model is a significant cost saving and I'd suggest strong incentive to purchase. Also following on from Georges point Automodello are really the only quality 1/24 manufacturer we have left so hopefully this model will be supported and sell well.

I haven't been a huge Automodello model supporter, but these '54 BUICK SKYLARK'S appear to be to good to pass up. It certainly would have been a car that I'd have hoped that either Danbury or Franklin Mints would have eventually got to. I sincerely hope that Automodello will to other models of the 50's that the mints never got to. Â
