I grabbed every single one of FM's 427SC Cobras. I was in a feeding frenzy back then. Exoto was doing a lineup of 20s and 289s and all I had in 1/24 was a Bburago I detailed. This black Cobra LE of 1500 is both the most sinister looking of the bunch and the hardest to photograph.

Rich, you did a fine job photographing the black snake. I have this one and the original unpainted number 98 issue. FM did a great job replicating these Cobras. Do you know many versions did they made?

Wow Tony, thanks for the info! I see my Cobra collection is severely lacking! FM sure got their money out of this tooling.

For rarity, my favorite is the One-of-80 in red signed by Shelby. For color, probably between these two:
