CMC's last 1/24 model of the 1938 Audi 920 Cabriolet was a mixed media tour de force of 399 mostly metal parts including fenders wheel hubs and windscreen frame. From the detailed chassis to the textile top, it's a marvel of complexity and use of proper materials.
The car itself, introduced in 1938 with production ceasing for wartime production in 1940, was also Audi's swan song for the next 25 years when the brand was finally resurrected.

A fitting end to the pre-war Audi and also the 1/24 CMC line. Love it, but both produced marvellous vehicles in somewhat different form.
