Come on DM or WCPD,its time for some Dodge Royal Lancers!
Would love to see particulary the colourcombos of the 1958 and the 1959 in the Pictures!

I'm in for those. Especially love the '59's.
Johan, those are gorgeous....would love to see DM or WCPD do either the '58 or '59.
Great PICs, Johan.

Johan - We need the 1959 Dodge Lancer in that color combo !!!
The Third Pic Is Misidentified As A '57...
This is a 1957 model...
Ed, I see that you have been to North Carolina for the
Food Lion Auto Fair in Charlotte. Do you come often or was this a one shot deal? Many nice cars to look at and remember back when. Or find that new ride you have been longing for.
Are you coming to the one this April 6, 7, 8 and 9? If so maybe we can hook up and at least speak for a moment.
Ed, I see that it´s another 1958 thank´s for the correction.
Since we've already got the '57 and '58 Plymouths, how much more work would it be to do the Dodges?
Never Been To Charlotte, JR. The Pic Was Found On The Web...
If you right click on the pic and select Properties you'll find the original web address. Here's another shot of the '57 from the same site:
The 58 is my first choice, but the 59 is not far behind !
Here here. The silver/black '59 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer is the one I hope to see next. I've been crowing for that car and color combo for the last two years. Loved that car since I first saw one about 1960-61. I would expect DM or WCPD to make these in 1:24; however, it could very possibly appear in 1:18 format first. If so, I hope it's done by one of the top outfits...
Beautiful! Is it my imagination or does the 1959 bear a subtle resemblance (particularly the front end) to the black Batmobile I religiously watched on TV back in the '60s?
Michael, the resemblance is coincidental...
The Batmobile your thinking of was converted by George Barris from the Lincoln Futura concept car of 1955. Check out the story by CLICKING HERE
I'm with ya on this one, Jason.
