A couple of posts back I told of a Franklin Mint NIB 49 Ford Surf Wagon I ran across that had a crazy low buy it now. I had seen the model listed over the years with big, huge price tags so I figured I’d buy it to flip it as I already had the DM ‘49 ‘ Merc’ surf woody so I figured I didn’t need another one. Boy was I wrong! It took about a second and a half upon uncovering the model that I decided to keep it, what a beauty!
Congrats - you acquired a treasure of a diecast model!
Kev, congrats brother. Enjoy that beauty. What a great find. It makes it even better when you get it for a decent price.💯😎
great addition Kevin. Models like this add "life" (couldn't think of a better descriptive term!) to a collection. I've made up a nice surfin' woody ute rod and boards kit. There are a number of figures to add, along with GDH and Steves suggestions too Kevin.
Thanks for the props guys, I’ve got a couple of figures for my DM surf woody. I need to be careful which figures I choose, my wife made me put a little t-shirt on the beach bunny. I took it off for the photo.
This is my favorite figure in my display!
@kevins posters in the background are great too Kevin
Ahh yes, The Big Boy. Sadly, they've closed a lot of them in our area, except the one here in town, woohoo!!! Now ours is busier than ever.
