@bob-jackman Bob there has been the odd Clydesdale race at a regular race meeting. I remember seeing one many years ago at a provincial track in New South Wales. Heres a pic of one in Exeter in the UK. They are magnificent animals.
Interesting geoff. Years ago we lived across the street from the Clydesdale breeding farm in Crestwood, Missouri USA owned by the Busch family of the beer fame. The horses were gated to pull the Budweiser wagons and so I never saw them run. Love the picture
thanks Bob, u reminded me of our local brewery Clydesdales who retired a couple of years ago. Heres a little story on them and their pic.
