Very nice, John. I don't recall seeing these pics these before. I don't have this particular model but it's as delightful and delovely as DM's other DeSotos. I have the two plum/lavender variants. Yellow & black was quite a popular color combo in the 1950s, even in home decor.

I have it and yes, I love it. I continue to be impressed John, at how real your diorama settings make the models so very real looking. INCREDIBLE!

I have this prototype with gray second color. Also the hubcaps have chrome letters instead of gold ones. It must be one of the first cabriolet prototypes as the windshield die was not polished yet.

That is a nice color too, but I am glad we got the black-I think it looks just a bit better than the gray.

I agree, the black looks better, I got it because it was a sample.

I like the Black/Yellow better too, but certainly wouldn't pass up having the Yellow/Gray like above. It's a DeSoto, and I would like and all I could get. Thanks for sharing Chav.
