@georgeschire it was a very popular and now classic color for that period.although it was very susceptible to UV damage over time.

A quiet day in the Spring of `64…..TOO quiet perhaps!!....The impeccable Impala SS sat on the macadam, an occasional tick from the still cooling V-8 were the only perceptible sounds......even those grew more infrequent as time passed
The car was a VISION !!.....60`s blue, upon grey, and set off by what can only be described as a FLUFFY green backdrop
The driver remained motionless in the comfortable cool silence….he knew from experience that if he was vewy VEWY quite, he would soon be rewarded with the sight of one, possibly two, Giant Michigan Bunnies
