This model is an exact image of a 1/1 I owned including the wire wheel covers. The goldenrod Yellow was a mid year release. My dentist saw my car at a car show and wanted to buy it on the spot...I told him I really didn't want to sell it. Long story short, we ended trading. He got the T-Bird and I got his 55 Imperial which has 46,000 miles which came out of a museum in San Diego, Ca. This model is spectacular in every way.

No I did not. As I've gotten older the 55 Thunderbird was becoming difficult for me to get into and out of. I have owned my 61 Corvette for 49 years and so I decided that one difficult fitting car was enough. I do have a 1963 Thunderbird Sports Roadster which is a big car and easy to get into and out of especially with it's swing away steering wheel. Yes i miss the 55 T-Bird but you can't keep them all. Thanks for asking.
