I noticed after taking these photos, the mirror was missing-found it in the display case-repairs made.

Those Automodellos are definitely fragile.... mirrors especially. I've repaired scores of them.

Nice photos John!  The only Automodello's I have are two of the Buick Riviera's.  For what my opinion is worth, the cars are nice, but will never be on par with what the mints gave us back in the day.  And I will never understand Automodello's "Window's Up" on the right sides of their cars.  Just makes no sense.  But as I said, MY OPINION.  Smile

@georgeschire It just offers two ways to pose the model and the open window gives a better look into the interior.

They are nice, but I wish Automodello would have put white side wall tires on this model.  All the Galaxies I remember seeing had them back then.  My neighbor had a black 7 liter, bought new, with them. It really dresses the car up.

The interior in this model is outstanding.

@rich-sufficool, I understand it offers two ways to view the car.  But maybe I'm in the minority, I just don't think "windows up" looks good on a model car.  I don't want to look at a window.

Love the pics and the setting, the subject not so much.
