Fabulous photos! Captures, perfectly, the great color combo FM went with here.

I agree with Tony on this one.  I have tried many times to purchase this model on the secondary sites, but have always been unsuccessful.  My day will come though.

Incredible photos as always John!  Looks like Franklin Mint captured this one to the tee.  Nice as it likely is, I've never collected anything but American cars and in this instance just can't get excited about a 1955 car that looks like it's lost in the 1930's with its styling.

I understand, and respect your aversion to non-American cars, George. Regarding the car's looks; I believe that was what Bentley was going for in the mid-50's and beyond - that appearance of 'classic 30's opulence'.

Very striking color combo, John. Although I have a bajillion RRs and Bentleys, I have none of the 50s-60s generation. I just never cared for that bloated body style.

I acquired this one as an unboxed dust bomb that needed a bit of TLC.  Once I started cleaning and polishing it I liked it more and more.  I wasn’t even going to keep it but it grew on me.  I already had the FM Silver Cloud (original release).  I later added the white wedding version, so now three ‘55 Rolls/Bentley. Nice models

I have the blue version, although I've always been a bit dubious about the size and positioning of the headlights.

@geoff-jowett

I never noticed the headlights before. Now that I see the 1:1, they do look small.
