Shot beautifully! One of my very favorite Mint cars!
John that background is one of your best ever. Love the Oldsmobile also.
I love this olds as well. Just came out at a time when money was short, so I missed out. You do not see this one on the secondary market either.
Oh how I love this one! When it was announced, I waisted no time ordering it and couldn't wait for it to arrive. Absolutely one of my all-time favorites on my self. I like it because it wasn't a hardtop or convertible like most mint cars were. It was more of the "every day driver" that were far more common in the neighborhoods back in the day. And it was an Oldsmobile, so that alone made it a "must have" for me! Danbury Mint hit a grand slam with this one! So did you John with your outstanding photos.
My wife collects Disney figurines, so I posed my '49 Olds Rocket 88 with the Seven Dwarfs.

Another lovely scene with a VERY cool car !!! (Hi Bunny)
John, I always loved your backdrop for your model pictures. And that Olds was one of my fav Danbury models.
understated, but totally correct for that time.
This will sound odd. but I have always had a special liking for your back grounds in your model pics.
I figured out why..... See attached. your background reminds me of the San Francisco zoo areas for the bears.
i was taken there many, many times by my parents. And the scenery around the animals was permanently
baked into my little mind. The image is of the Polar bear exhibit which looks similar to your backdrops........
