Some  of the best pictures I have seen of a model car. You have hit a home run my friend.

Bob, I'll repeat again if thats OK. How many models do we reckon Tonys, Richs and others pics sold for the mints?

@chav fascinating models to include in a collection Chav. However I must admit I'm glad DM didn't pursue. IMHO the top looks terrible!

I find them beautiful, these are likely the only 2 in existence. The fabric piece is very early fit, kind of proof of concept. It is amazing that the tops fold and cleanly fit in the trunk. Debating whether to restore them (add the missing and replace the broken parts) or keep them as is...

I honestly think CMC tried to make their Horch with working top but they were unsuccessful too. Only FM succeeded in 1:24 with with the Hudson.

Look careful, all framework pieces are there (eBay pic):

@chav I just saw this car featured at Barrett-Jackson and the hinges ARE huge.

@chav very perceptive Chav, I had a close look at my green Horch, the framework pieces and the fabric material really add to the realistic look. CMCs 1/24 Mercedes 540K convertible however just has a stock type, albeit excellent quality, plastic? top. BTW yours is the only FM Hudson I have seen photos of with the convertible top cover fully  enclosing the material of the convertible cover.

@geoff-jowett Geoff, I don't exactly remember what I did, but I worked on the black/silver Hudson to make the top appear better.
