DDA have done a great job with these relatively recent releases of a new Torana tooling. Other versions and colors are also available. The model standard is very high, maybe a bit above early mint? With no doglegs. The metallic Hermes Gold paint on the LC is stunning. Shutlines are very tight, cant at this time get the bonnet open on the A9X but engine bay is similar standard to the LC. Cars I'm very familiar with and the proportions are spot on. Very popular car produced here in Australia from 1967 to 1980, over 3 'generations'. Wikipedias coverage is excellent https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden_Torana

Since I recently discovered the models from DDA, I've got my eye on these two. They both look excellent, although I'm not real familiar with the 1:1.

I got to see a lot of these Aussie creations when I lived in Thailand. They were easy, but expensive imports as both countries employ RHD. I liked the Chrysler Australia cars best and was tickled that they used American model names on completely different cars that borrowed similar styling cues. I thought it was so cool that they offered a Hemi inline 6 in their '71 (Plymouth) Charger R/T. Here it is in 1/18 by AUTOart.

That is a superb rendition Rich, thanks. I have the Trax 1/24. I actually owned one in the early 70s and thrashed the hell out of it!

Re DDA, as I mentioned in an earlier post they seem to be thriving. Really getting the most out of their 1/24 toolings with different engine configurations, body style variations and colors. They have Ford Falcon XW and XY utes coming, which I reckon will be huge. And with the current exchange rate, yours in the U.S for around $40-$60USD!
