Did Danbury make a "Back to the Future" DeLorean?
I have seen brochures on that other auction site but have never seen the model come up for auction anywhere. Also, I can't find it in the car list & reviews section. Thank you.

Yes they did. Issued in 2010 1:18 scale Ltd Ed of 1000.

Ed it originally WAS supposed to be 1:24th scale but .....
There must have been "stuff" going on even back then thus it was marketed as a DM model, but made by another company and the scale changed to 1:18th. The same thing happened with the 1966 Batmobile! It was originally supposed to be made by DM. I even have a Brochure on it!!! Then I got post card after post card after I preordered it stating "sorry for the delay but due to ....... " After several of these I got the dreaded one "Sorry for any inconvenience, but do to circumstances beyond our control we will not be able to produce this model" I then waited over 10 years to FINALLY get a 1:24?? scale static die-cast model of the Batmobile made by Hotwheels which is OK from 2-3 feet but its out of scale (too small more like 1:25-6). I would have LOVED to have a highly detailed model made by DM but as luck has it it never happened and NEVER will so.....
