Are the local Backwoods Boys movin' a load of "shine" JB?  I figure whatever is going on much be illegal considering Betty Bibb is lurking in the background.

Betty is marketing this new product as non-bearing tomato plants.

@jack-dodds ..........well now, there`s a euphemism I`m hearing for the first time 🙄 ......as far as Betty goes, she does have a very high dollar (smuggled) import she`d like you to be aware of.....get some now,as it`s only going up in value !!

Interesting linguistic expression you used there JB.

Betty's reported smuggling technique puts me off just a tad...I will pass with thanks.

Thank you Geoff......That was the shoot where the water tower made it`s bones...

..over the course of several hours, intermittent (cold) rains fell and turned my crushed leaves ground litter to swamp-rot mud

thank you Tony......what lens would you try, to capture the height of the tower without having all the cars come out looking like 1/64 scale mini autos

Whichever one you used, specifically in that last shot, was superb! With a telephoto the least amount of power, the better. You may have to move the camera in or out, at your widest angle to get the result you want, but I think you GOT it!

@perrone1 Thanks Tony......there`s a good chance I`ve already asked.....I just can`t seem to get a grasp on the telephoto lens

my choice (a Nikon NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5) as I recently learned, will suffer in it`s ability to capture good low light in comparison to the 4x more expensive Nikon 70-200 f/2.8E

since breaking my more capable lens, I`m using a 24-85 f/3.5 and I worry that this lens may be hampering/limiting my camera

......thoughts?

I used that 28-300 for a number of years. On car models it worked well on between 35 to 50mm at f/11 to f/22. Experimentaion is key, mark down your results for future use. Wink
