An incredible story about your niece and her "getting it". I love it! And the final photo of the room makes me want to visit it and get lost in it. THANKS for sharing.
@donderbeestje Thanks, it just happened over a long period of time for me.
I say that same thing to my kids. Though my collection isn't even close to yours Bob, acquiring it for me was "one car at a time", and suddenly it's like, what happened?
@pete-rovero I only have about 75 1/24 left. Mostly I have 1/43. Here is a display of my Birds.
I love your Thunderbird Display. Thanks for sharing! Just curious, has your Red 1960 T-Bird been able to avoid the die-cast cancer? Mine literally all but crumbled some years back. In the early stages of the cancer, I took these photos.
Excellent display of your Birds! I have 10 out of your 16 Birds plus the black '62 Town Landau. I also did a few repaints so I have all the available colors of the '62 Sports Roadster.

@georgeschire Hi George, actually this is my second red 1960. The first one totally crumbled and went to trash over 3 years ago. So far this one has eluded the rash! Chuck

Good to hear that you are lucky so far on the second one. I loved that model so much. I remember the day it arrived, I showed my wife and gave her a long story about Thunderbirds. Of all the DM & FM T-Birds, it was my favorite! It was he RED that popped it for me. Then when I found the hood and doors covered with cracks and eroding, I was devastated. It continued to get worse and became very noticeable of the bad shape it was in on my car shelf. I finally resolved that it had to go, and it went to the trash bin on a garbage pick-up day. Being that I know the car is prone to "rot", I wouldn't take the chance on another one. Glad you've been lucky though!
