Harken back to the day when DM began to conpete with TFM. Back then, it was the case of "I'm not as good as TFM, but I am $10 cheaper". DM actually tried to go head-to-head almost simultaneously releasing identical images like the Jaguars and the Stutzes. Hardly a coincidence. When TFM began their series of vintage Rolls, DM took a shot at it with this late '30s V12 Rolls Phantom lll Sedanca de Ville by H.J. Mulliner. It was hardly up to FM standards with its silver painted gravel guards and lack of sharp detail, but it had a few surprising touches. The seats were leather and fabric covered, the front grill was beautifully done. The bonnet employed fine piano hinges and the finish was flawless. DM was beginning to show some promise!
It may not be up to the FM standard of the early Rolls Royce models, but it is still cool. I picked up one of these second-hand many years ago. I like it.
Beautiful photos.

I agree with the above comments. While not up to today's standards this is still a nice model of a beautiful car. Nice pictures Rich.
