Beautiful T-Bird. One that I do not have. I have never seen one done at a 1:1 in Yellow. But it looks great on the model.
A happy color for sure. Yellow is my favorite color. I always offer to paint any room in our house that needs painting...as long as I can paint it yellow. I get out of painting the room every time.

reminds me of the time I was designated as the workplace Christmas lunch organiser. "great, we'll all eat outdoors and we will eat "healthy"! Next day "you're not doing it".

At the time this model came out, I owned an exact duplicate down to the wire wheel covers. When I would take the 1/1 to a car show I would display the model on a turntable which was a big hit. Should never have gotten rid of the 1/1 but with my bad back it was difficult to get into and out of. I ended trading it for my 55 Imperial Newport hardtop.

I vividly recall the show video of that car - GREAT choice you made for the right reasons!
