Does anyone have an interest in...
...the 1970s AMC and Jeep models. I am always intrigued by underdog companies that are forced to innovate with little cash. AMC pioneered many concepts we take for granted today. SUV, Crossovers, life cycle marketing, computer aided auto design...among others. I would love to see some 1:24 models of these often unusual yet very American cars. The eagle was still being built with vintage tooling into the 1985 model year.

Michael, I am interested in models of all manufacturers including AMC.
I've never liked AMC cars. Most of them always seemed kinda frumpy or odd looking.
Early '70's AMC Matador a favored police cruiser. The car star of TV's Adam 12.
LAPD did have AMC's briefly. They than switched back to MOPAR. By the way, in one episode, Malloy bought a new AMC Javelin.

Love Javs, AMX and least we not forget, “The Man With The Golden Gun”.
A sad day for AMC when even the budget consious LAPD called it a day on them.
I wonder if Malloy returned his Javelin.
There are certain AMC cars that I would be interested in for sure.
Phil AMC didn't sell Jeep to Chrysler. AMC as a whole merged into Chrysler.
AMC was partially owned by Renault at that time. Chrysler bought out Renault's shares then merged AMC in. They re-badged the Eagle Premier as the Dodge Monaco. They kept the Eagle name alive for a while by introducing the Eagle Vision alongside the Chrysler Concorde and Dodge Intrepid. Of course Jeep was the jewel in the AMC crown, and the real reason that Chrysler wanted AMC, and later on why Daimler and then Fiat wanted Chrysler!

Yeah, Malloy did return the red Javelin . But, Marty Milner drove a Rolls as one of his cars.
I would see him at the car wash in Sherman Oaks on Ventura once in awhile. Maybe he kept his Vette from his TV show Route 66. RIP Martin Milner.

I've said for years that the Mints missed the boat on 'THE TRIPLE SET'. The Mints...
... should've done :
- Scramblin' Rambler / red-white-blue
- AMX / red-white-blue
- Rebel(?) 'The Machine' / red-white-blue ( I think someone else besides the Mints did this one in 1:24 or 1:25. )
I'd have been all over this TRIPLE SET. But, no one did it.
And...come to think of it; some one did an AMX / red-white-blue; but, it doesn't look very good. (quality)
