Douglas, I've been " hooked " on everything this year!!!
My collection has grown at least four-fold, in all departments, and, it seems, too, that there are " departments being added!! Impala/Bel Airs, of the '50's-early '60's abound; there are more trucks, and, more to come! I have a # of muscle cars ( most are non-mint ), and there are a few more on my list.
I now have about 12 'Vettes, for example, where, at the first of the year, I had two, or, three!!
Heaven sakes, I'm on a wait list for a greyhound bus in 1/25th scale!! Do I smell a depot, maybe, in the offing??
I have collected accessories for that Texaco stn. of mine. What a year...I have had much quieter/cheaper ones, for sure...thank god 4 the secondary market, or, I'd bee in reel deep water!
What have been memorable years for you?
Do you go in cycles, or, is it more " full steam ahead ", most years?
I have been "hooked" since the first FM car, the red 35 Mercedes 500K in 1983.
I don't really concentrate on any one era. I buy what I like. I really wish the mints would do more '60's cars. That is what I love about WCPD. Those Impalas are awesome.
