One of those models I wouldn't have known about if not for the old Diecast review site...
Came across this as well as the Z-G on eBay at great prices back in April - fantastic looking model, but the opening parts do feel somewhat loose and flimsy. The shutlines are great, but the doors, once pried open with some skill, do tend to wobble around the hinge part quite a bit. This is one of Ebbro's earlier opening diecasts, and it really does show...
Still quite a handsome model though, and pairs nicely with the 2000GT.
Ebbro sure did a great job of diecast!! Terrific post!
One thing I always liked about Ebbro was the crispness of the body lines that were right up there with resin castings. For their time, these model have a really high parts count and the fit and finish was quite impressive. This the Fairlady ZF.
These look like impressive models from the photos. I’ve never seen one of these.
