W.C. Rolls was as much (if not more) an aviator guy. This 1910 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost "Balloon Car" Roadster was built for him by H. J. Milliner to accommodate his balloon basket and had the rear fenders made from flexible patent leather to prevent damage when loading the basket. The paintwork as well as the simulated caning on this model is spectacular. It reminds me of a Victorian era carnival ride.

This looks like a very nice model. I considered it a couple of times but never made the purchase. FM always did an excellent job with the Brass Era models.
