We all know you you don't like the car. Fortunately you are in the minority as at the time it sold like hotcakes in the luxury car field. Much more so than the 58-60 Lincolns that it replaced and you love. Those cars IMHO to use your phrase are some of the ugliest cars on the planet but I have mellowed with age and now wouldn't mind having a 58. The 59 to me is just plain of the chart in homeliness. I also have the same opinion about most of the GM cars from the early 50's. Especially the 58 Olds should be banned from the planet it's so ugly but I don't take every opportunity to bash the cars as you do with the 61 Continental. Yes we all have different opinions but try being considerate of others once in a while George with your wording...
