FIN-TASTIC! There were fins, and then there were killer fins. This 58 Buick had the latter!

Extremely sharp. I'd do this in 1:24.
Yes! +1.
Great Shot George
And I agree about the fins but, what about the CHROME. A little bit to excess you think?
A beauty George, I love the '58 Buicks fins almost as much as the '59 Pontiac quad fins.
Beautiful car, great color. This Buick has it all.
Ridiculously over the top, I LOVE IT!!
The bodacious Airborn B58 Buick. Tons of chrome, fabulous fins and the Fashion Aire Dynastar grill!
Oh yea David, I'd agree. It's over the top with chrome.

Take away ALL the chrome..what does it weigh then..lol
There is a story about the 58 GM cars...
Supposedly, the designers were split into teams to design the chrome trim for the 58s. I want ot say it was this very car. But the teams, as a joke put ALL the stuff on one mock up and one of the corporate heads (harley Earl?) saw it and said "GO WITH IT". I may have that all screwed up. But there is a story...
And a Favorite of Yours
The 58 Oldsmobiles were no slouches either and can't forget the Cadillac "Sixty Special", of which my Grandmother had one in silver.
The same as a plucked chicken...lol.
