Why did I have such a hard time snagging this one? I’ve searched eBay for months, nothing, went to Etsy, which I seldom do, and got it. I haven’t received it yet but I’m stoked. Any ideas why it’s so elusive, it doesn’t seem like there’s anything so special about it (except to me)?

It's a beauty - you'll love it.
Rarity? This is why: (1) People who own it (a smaller # of collectors), like the model and hold on to it. (2) It is a numbered limited edition to ONLY those who ordered the more abundant 1953 GMC.

yeh well done Kevin, I'd love to add one too. Tony there's another pickup isn't there? Similar purchase rules as Kevins that I always have a go at whenever one rarely comes up. So rarely I cant think of what it is!It's a beauty - you'll love it.

Hey Geoff, I wonder if this one is what you’re thinking of? I’d like to get that one too if it ever comes up at a good price. This one is currently on eBay at 155-, and it’s not perfect.

Absolutely correct! 1937 GMC: Numbered Limiter Edition limited to buyers of the 1953 GMC in Morat Green & Black issued 9/1/2003.

Ok, all this talk about the Jimmies caused me to go back to eBay for a second look. Found another that looked good, made an offer, nabbed it! Sweeet! I’ll send pics when I get the trucks. Thanks guy’s.

Ha well done Kevin! I think there may be a small circular hood ornament? Can u see if it is there on other pics? If indeed I'm right and there is one in the first place?

Thank goodness I got all the pickups automatically shipped as they came out as part of the Pickup collection. I just love the old pickups.

Kevin and Geoff, I can relate. When these first came out, I didn't subscribe to getting all of them. Later I questioned that decision and went on the hunt. That was several years ago when they were more easily found and got them all. Congratulations Kevin on your find and good luck Geoff on your hunt.
