Pete here are some pictures of different ways I have lowered some of my cars.

First the '57 Chevy. I cut a bit off of the rear wheels to get the effect I wanted.

Then glue them in place. The front wheel just glue it up in the wheel well.

These wheels don't roll.

This '57 I just put on the fender skirts kind of made it look lowered.

This one the wheels do roll.

This '55 Oldsmobile just glued the wheels up into the wheel wells. Three wheels were broken when shipped to me.

These wheels don't roll.

Now the '40 trucks are a little different. This one I glued the '36 Ford Hot Rod axels with wheels to frame of truck.

This one the wheels do roll.

This '40 truck I glued the wheels up into the wheel well. Wheels don't roll on this one.

There you have it. I have found other ways like switching chassis from vehicle to vehicle as well.

Have found where there's a will there's a way. Hope this is a help for you Pete.
