Geno, yes you have posted this before, but it is a great model to look over again. You do great work.
Thanks guys, I thought I had. Some were thinking it was an LE diecast, just clarifying things. I'm glad you guys like seeing it. I enjoyed building it. I was kinda surprised DM never got around to doing the Coronet R/T. Maybe it was in the works, until the bottom fell out.😊👍💯
It's a beautiful build Geno! My problem is that I envy you and everyone that can build and paint kit models. I've never had the skill or the patience for it. Back when I was a kid from 8 years old to about 20 years old, I tried a a couple of dozen times, and came away frustrated after each one. I'd buy the JoHan plastic promotional models instead, as they were complete and looked good to me.
I've shared in the past here about the 1971 house fire that took them all from me, and I was sad for many years until in 1989 when I discovered the '57 Chevy blue convertible from Danbury Mint in an ad on the back of the Sunday newspaper Parade magazine supplement. I'd had no idea what "diecast" was, but the car appeared to be so perfect in the ad, I had to order it.
Being amazed at how well it was crafted when it arrived, I wanted more, as I felt the addiction immediately. The rest of that story is now history. And sadly, so is Danbury Mint and the other mints that provided 1:24 scale models. Alas today, I have the collection I do, and each morning while embracing my first cup of coffee, my eyes scan my car shelves and I seemingly see them brand new all over again.

Thanks guys, George, I completely understand. My first 1/24 diecast was the FM '57 Bonneville. I've been hooked ever since. I'd also built models as a kid, never to the level of detail I put into them now. I had a pretty extensive model collection, until I traded them all for R/C stuff. A move I regret to this day.😥
@rich-sufficool Thanks Rich, but it's a Coronet R/T. 😊
This beautiful Dodge is certainly worth seeing again and again. Great job !
maybe at 2-3 month intervals LOL! OMG check out the engine bay! Looks like a 1:1, the battery leads and terminals just one highlight!This beautiful Dodge is certainly worth seeing again and again. Great job !
Geno would u consider giving some of the vintage Johan and AMT kits a go? I for one would love to see what you could do with them. I came across these when searching for the AMT Masterpiece models. There seem to be quite a few around, some outrageously priced but others not so.Thanks guys, George, I completely understand. My first 1/24 diecast was the FM '57 Bonneville. @geoff-jowett I have Geoff, out of these, the only one I have is the '65 Grand Prix, one of my all time favorite cars. I've got better than 40 kits at the moment, probably more than I have enough life left to build, lol.😲😁
